This book details the history of many of the region's surviving homes built in the 1800s. It presents the histories of homes along Crocks Point Road, the Keswick Ridge Road (Route 616), Tripp Settlement Road, McKeen Drive, Mactaquac Heights, Route 615, and Route 105 near the Merrithew Pickard Cemetery. It talks about some homes that unfortunately no longer exist, and others relocated during the construction of the Mactaquac Dam.

This book also discusses land grant lots, and includes a table of land grant lot numbers that pinpoints on which lot each house stands.

This book is a fascinating addition to any local history buff's collection!
